Acne and Black Cumin Seed Oil

Black cumin seed oil contains amino acids, essential fatty acids, flavonoids, and vitamins.  Black cumin seed has been named “a remedy for every illness except death.” Black cumin has been used for thousands of years and is considered to be nothing short of a natural remedy miracle. Black cumin comes from a plant called Nigella Sativa. This plant actually dates back to 2000 to 3000 BC.

There are well over one hundred chemical compounds contained in the black cumin plant. Crystalline nigellone is the central active ingredient. It is a source of arachidonic acid, beta sitosterol, linoleic acid, myristic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, palmitoleic acid, stearic acid, thymoquinone, vitamin b1, vitamin b2, and vitamin b3. It is also a source of calcium, copper, folic acid, iron, phosphorous, and zinc. There are fifteen amino acids contained in black cumin seed oil. It also contains an abundant amount of essential fatty acids.

Black cumin seed oil is able to boost the immune system, treat allergies, treat asthma, remedy inflammation, assist digestive disorders, fight cancer, cure headaches, heal infections, and provide a wealth of other health benefits. Black cumin seed oil can be taken internally or applied topically to improve the health of the skin. What are some ways that black cumin seed oil can enhance your skin? It has a vast number of properties, some of which include: analgesic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, antioxidant, and antiviral. And, these are just some of the many properties.

How to Use It:

  1. Fill a pot with boiling hot water.
  2. Add two tablespoons of Black Cumin Seed Oil to the hot water.
  3. Place your face over the pot.
  4. Cover your head and the pot with a towel, in order to keep the steam in.
  5. Keep your face over the pot until you no longer feel the steam.
  6. Rinse your face with cold water to close your pores.

This is a marvelous way to naturally treat and heal your acne. Only steam your face once per week. Additionally, you may apply the black cumin seed oil directly on your problem areas, or take it internally by consuming it.
