5 Ways to Treat Acne with Natural Remedies

Use Lemon Juice

Lemon juice used on the skin can fight inflammation and kills acne bacteria. It is also an effective natural source of alpha hydroxy acid. After washing your face, apply a solution of 1 part lemon juice to 3 parts water on your face. Gradually increase the percentage of lemon juice over water.  Finish with an oil free moisturizer.

Use Green Tea Ice Cubes

Green tea has astringent properties, and is also a rich source of antioxidants. You can use green tea ice cubes to treat acne. Rub the ice over the area for about two to three minutes or until the skin is wet, but don’t overdo it. It can freeze your skin.

Try Eggs

Eggs have a protein called albumin, which helps to control the acne bacteria. It also helps to reduce discoloration of the skin caused by acne. To make this mask, beat the egg whites. Now apply this mask with your fingertips and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

Use Oatmeal

Oatmeal is great for clearing up acne. It cleanses pores by absorbing oil and exfoliating the skin. Just grab some plain oatmeal, soak over night. Spread it evenly on your face for 15 minutes and wash it off by rubbing.

Aloe Vera gel on your acne will soothe and heal the skin. Acne sufferers can see a remarkable improvement by simply breaking an aloe vera leaf and applying gel to the acne area.
